Johnny Represents The Partnership!

Johnnie Crouch from Nab Wood has been chosen to represent the Aire Valley School Sports Partnership at the end of March 2010 at the Step into Sport Camp in Loughborough. 

What you hope he will get out of it?
I feel that I have a lot to gain from the residential, not just to raise my sports knowledge, but to develop me more as a leader, and to become a more rounded individual, I think that I would also gain socially from the event, making new friends and contacts that I may be able to use in the future.

What involvement he has had in sports leadership/volunteering?
Officiated at trampolining competitions
Indoor athletics  - both primary and secondary school events
Trampolining clubs
Lead warm ups within the events
Helped out at events outside of my school, such as regional events.
Hoola-hoopathon sponsored event
Helped ran a session with impaired (disabled ) children

What type of person are you?
Reliable
All round person 
Determined
Knows what he is doing
Gets along with people

Works well with young people such as primary school students

What training has he taken part in, over his volunteering career?
Community sports leadership award (level 2)
Trampolining judging
Rugby union foundation coaching and referee 
Introductory Gymnastic judging 
Basic life support
