Rugby League

Many thanks to those of you who have shown an interest in the Rugby League, League which we anticipate will be starting from March 2011.

Working in collaboration with James Lewis from the RFL it has been decided that this league structure will provide the pathway into the next round of the Carnegie Champions Schools 2011/2012 competition. This league structure will replace the one off tournaments normally held in October. Year 7s this school year will be playing for a place in the year 8 regional rounds in the school year 2011/2012. This will also be mirrored for year 8s,9s and 10s. Something will be put in place for your new year 7s from September 2011.

If you have not already returned your reply and registered your interest in taking part can I urge you to do so as soon as possible?

Bradford Bulls have given their permission for the leagues top four play offs to be held at the Grattan Stadium so that the teams get the accolade that they deserve. This date has yet to be agreed.
