Sports Partnership to Deliver FREE Offer to current SSP Schools 2011-13

Aire Valley SSP are delighted to announce they have attracted funding for the next two years.  This will allow us to provide FREE competitions and coaching to all of our existing schools for the next 2 years.

Why join?
The Aire Valley Sports Partnership (AVSSP) has been working with local schools and the community since 2004 with a mission to build a brighter future for young people through PE and sport.

What are the key benefits of Membership?
Based on 8 years experience of cutting-edge work, AVSSP offers access to a range of opportunities which will offer Primary and Secondary School as well as wider community support, ideas and inspiration to increase attainment across the school by developing best practice in PE and Sport.

How will this be delivered?
The constitution of the partnership has yet to be determined but all existing schools and community groups within the AVSSP will be invited to be part of this exciting future.

The amount and level of support will be determined by the number of schools who wish to be part of it.  Once determined all members will have the flexibility to decide what suits their school and can choose from delivery / support options such as;

• Sports Coaching in Schools
• Primary Link Teacher Time
• Production of Schemes of Work
• Training for Young Leaders
• Training for Staff
• Class Festivals in School
• PPA / Health / Sports Day Delivery
• Validating & Vetting Sports Coaches
• Equipment for Schools, Provision/Sharing
• Advice on Funding & New Initiatives
• Links to Community Sports Pathways
• Transition for pupils to Secondary School
• Develop  inclusive/challenging provision

How to sign up?
Bryan Brooks (current AVSSP Development Manager) would appreciate the opportunity to speak to each Head Teacher to formalise the offer and make sure your school receives what its wants out of future provision.
