Onna Ju-Jitsu Club consists of 8 coaches delivering martial arts to its highest standards. Specialising in delivering sessions as part of extra-curricular activities for schools, inclusion programmes for persons with disabilities and behavioural issues, self-defence for women and young girls...our aim is to deliver Ju-Jitsu as a means of a fun physical activity to improve fitness, awareness, confidence and esteem.

One of our personal goals is to bring the community together via sports and martial arts. Everyone, regardless of age, gender, socio-economic status, fitness, religion/culture and/or disability, is made to feel welcome and part of the club. Professor Clark (9th dan) once commented on the ‘family’ feeling of the club and this was evidenced by the coming together of over 300 students representing all pillars of society at club gradings.

Operated by a team of instructors, Bradford Jitsu is a collection of clubs affiliated the Jitsu Foundation, a national body that provides a single, consistant style and syllabus. This esnures that the skills, techniques and knoweldge gained by our students, are easily transfered to other clubs affiliated to the same body.

The Jitsu Foundation is a large organisation with an international presence and significant coverage of the UK. For full details of all the clubs available, please visit
