School Sports Coaching

The School Sports Coaching Grant is aimed at children between 5 and 16 who have a strong interest in sport and who are keen to develop their ability further.

The sessions provided should help to develop young athletes and should, ideally, lead them into competition. We have a number of agreements in principle with various clubs/coaches to provide on site coaching for children in schools, Out of School Hours.

Each Primary school, referring to the competition calendar and thinking of the requirements their pupils have chosen their priority sports for next year;

The sessions are the responsibility of the school(s) at all times.  The coaches have all been veted following the Local Authority Guidelines but the sessions are owned by the school and any agreements entered into between the coach and the school (i.e. what checks are insisted upon, session times, numbers attending etc.) are negotiated seperately and are nothing to do with the Aire Valley Sports Partnership.

All parties however must be aware that some coaches will have limited availability and therefore both parties must try to be flexible in their approach.

You can easily make this a point to YOUR company OR hide it all together.
