Bingley Grammar

Bingley Grammar has a tradition of running Summer and Winter sports teams over many sports including Rugby, Netball, Football, Swimming , Athletics, Cricket and Rounders.

As well as this the students have been offered a number of out of school activities including Badminton, Table Tennis, Climbing, Cycling, Cheerleading, Triathlon, and Volleyball.

Bingley Grammar struggles with the lack of facilities on site but over the last 3 years with an input of money from 'Awards for All' and parents / pupils the school has added:

A climbing wall

Traversing wall

Rowing Suite with concept 2 trainers.

Mountain bike course

Full mapped orienteering course.

Bingley Grammar has an excellent Leadership Academy which provides support to primary schools and has recently set up a Sports Council with students from all years to encourage more participation in sport. Their first event was the Sports Relief Mile in which the sports council raised over £700 for sport relief.
